WHA is pleased to announce the 2010 - 2011 WHA Leadership Academy. Our program has been revamped based on your ideas, insights and requirements.

The WHA Leadership Academy is designed as a high-impact, results-oriented class. It focuses on management intensives around leadership, problem-solving, business and collaboration. We are proud to bring such a leading-edge program to you.

The goals of the Leadership Academy are to develop:

Leadership Skills: The program will develop internal leaders, based on strategic vision and succession planning within the organization.
Management Skills: The course will support managers as they transition from transactional work to strategic managers who execute the vision of the organization.
Communication Skills: The program will focus on the effective communications that are essential to great leadership, management and patient safety.
Business Skills: The course will focus on the "Business of Healthcare" so that emerging leaders will understand their role and work within the context of the entire healthcare system and regional and national context.
