Regional Care Coordinator, Community Care Alliance

Amber Goodenow, RN, is a Regional Care Coordinator for the Community Care Alliance (CCA). In this role, Amber is responsible for the growth and maintenance of the Care Coordination Programs at selected facilities.

Born and raised in Colorado, Amber has worked in healthcare in various capacities for over 20 years. She obtained her LPN license in 2006 and graduated as an RN in 2007, starting her career at Home Health. In 2010, Amber joined Pioneers Medical Center at the Walbridge Wing as a floor nurse, where she worked until 2016. She then transferred to the ED/Med-Surg department for about two years. In 2018, Amber took on the role of Assistant Director of Nursing at the Walbridge Wing, a position she held until joining the CCA.

Amber’s passion for rural healthcare began with her father, a lab tech. He instilled in her the belief that in rural healthcare, we have the unique opportunity to keep our focus on the most important priority: our patients.

Amber and her husband have been children’s pastors at their church for the past 20 years. They teach children’s church every Sunday morning and organize and host several large outreach events throughout the year. Amber and her husband also lead the Young Adults group at their church, where they plan monthly activities, and they volunteer with their local Young Life group.
