Bobbie Orchard

Marketing & Program Development Director

Bobbie is the Marketing & Program Development Director for WHA and its affiliated companies.

In this role, she leads the communications and marketing strategy, overseeing member communications, website development, branding, and more. Additionally, she facilitates the WHA Communications Peer Network group and oversees WHA’s annual summit.

Bobbie also manages WHA’s in-house education program, the Leadership Academy. Her team develops the curriculum for scheduled classes and manages all aspects of custom courses.

WHA’s Corporate Partner programs offer money-saving opportunities for members. Bobbie and her team manage potential partner vetting, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships throughout the life of the contracts. Her team also tracks all savings and creates yearly member summaries to highlight program savings and more. She directly manages the WHA GPO and Mayo Lab programs and facilitates the WHA Materials Management and Lab Peer Network groups.

She joined the WHA team in 2007 and has over 20 years of experience in marketing, event planning, project management, contract management, CRM management, and corporate communications. Her diverse professional background includes positions as Director of Revenue Management for Starwood Hotels and Executive Director for the Western Slope Chamber of Commerce. Bobbie earned her Associate’s Degree from the Colorado Institute of Art.
