Administrative Director of Operations & Member Support

Pilar is the Administrative Director of Operations and Member Support for WHA and its affiliated companies. In this role, she leads the outreach strategy for members.

Pilar oversees the operations of Healthcare Management, the parent company of AR Services and A-1 Collection Agency. Her teams provide revenue recovery services to rural and community hospitals, physician groups, and more.

Pilar also manages our Peer Network program, working to ensure consistency across all Peer Network groups. She is the lead facilitator for four of our 17 Peer groups. Pilar provides outreach services to increase member awareness of WHA programs, acts as the go-to resource for healthcare industry trends and information, offers dedicated customer service to ensure member retention, and visits member facilities.

She joined the team in 2007 and has over 30 years of customer service experience. Pilar has spent the past 18+ years in healthcare as an Admissions Manager, PFS Director, Consultant, and Trainer on Admissions, Customer Service, Upfront Collections, and Charity.

Pilar is a past President of the Colorado Chapter of HFMA and a past Chair of the HFMA Western Symposium. She has also served as Secretary and board member of the Colorado Rocky Mountain Chapter of AAHAM. Pilar holds a certificate in Business Administration from Colorado Mesa University (formerly known as Mesa State).
