To compile its Best Hospitals for Maternity Care (Uncomplicated Pregnancy) list, U.S. News examined survey data voluntarily submitted by hospitals from across the nation that provide labor and delivery services and submitted detailed data to the publication; 680 hospitals, an all-time high, participated in this year’s U.S. News survey. U.S. News gave 311 hospitals high-performing designations in maternity care for 2023-24.
