Vail Health is a nonprofit community health care system serving patients and guests from around the world. Accredited by the Joint Commission, Vail Health provides a wide array of medical services in Eagle and Summit counties. Designated by the State of Colorado as a Level III Trauma Center, Vail Health Hospital is a 56-bed hospital with a Cardiac Catheterization & Electrophysiology Lab, a Family Birth Center and is home to some of the most respected orthopaedic and general surgeons in the world.
Vail Health also offers urgent care clinics, cancer care, breast centers, cardiovascular services, physical therapy, primary care, specialty care, behavioral health and more. Locally operated and governed by a volunteer board of directors, Vail Health has committed $200 million to increase access to behavioral health care in the community, including the opening of a 28-bed in-patient behavioral health facility, the Precourt Healing Center, in 2025.
